The Diller-Quaile Institute furthers the School's mission to develop the innate musicality in each individual, inspiring participation for a lifetime, by promoting knowledge and access to educators, teaching artists, researchers, and the community.

The Institute:

· Offers Professional Development for musicians, teaching artists, and music educators
· Offers pre-service and in-service Teacher Development in music for elementary educators and early childhood professionals
· Conducts Research in musical development, teaching and learning, and community music
· Produces Recordings and Publications for families, musicians, and educators
· Offers The Music for All Library, an online music resource for early childhood professionals

Diller-Quaile's Teacher Development Programs have been approved for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) by the New York State Education Department.

Diller-Quaile is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.

Music For All Library

Diller-Quaile’s Music for All Library is a resource for Early Childhood professionals, teachers, and caregivers who wish to implement beautiful music experiences with young children ages birth to five.

Teacher Development Workshops: Early Childhood Music

We offer online and in-person Early Childhood Music Education workshops for Music Teachers and Early Childhood Professionals.

Full Semester Courses in Early Childhood Music

Diller-Quaile offers full semester courses in Early Childhood Music Education for Early Childhood Professionals. These courses are tuition-free for teachers who are employed by publicly-funded New York City Early Childhood institutions.

Professional Development for pianists inspired by the inclusive philosophy of Angela Diller & Elizabeth Quaile.

Dalcroze Portfolio Seminar

Dalcroze Portfolio Seminar is designed for experienced Dalcroze instructors who are preparing Portfolio work.

Songs for Singing and Sharing

Diller-Quaile produces the Songs for Singing and Sharing music series, an eclectic selection of folk music for early childhood families and for use in educational settings.
