Early Childhood Department

Through expressive and dynamic playing, class activities are accompanied by the unique sounds of the acoustic guitar, creating a timbre that is gentle for such young children. Infants and adults deepen their connection through joy-filled music experiences which help foster development through expressive singing, tapping, clapping, bouncing, and rocking. Group participation with small percussion instruments and props develops each infant’s motor skills and listening abilities, while promoting a love of music. In addition to a head teacher, every class features a guitarist who supports the learning process and improvises accompaniments in a variety of musical styles.
