Adult Department Application Timeline

The School’s academic year is thirty weeks in length, beginning in mid-September and continuing through early June. Beginning in February 2017, prospective adult students may apply online for the 2017-2018 academic year or download a writable PDF application.

April 30, 2017 Application are due for returning students
July 2017 Schedules are mailed to new and returning students.
September 1, 2017 First half of tuition due for adult students enrolling in a full year program. Tuition is due in full for students enrolling in fall semester only.
January 9, 2018 Second half of tuition due for adult students enrolling in a full year program. Tuition is due in full for students enrolling in spring semester only.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) FOR ADULT DEPARTMENT

Q: Can I register for one semester only?

A: Yes, adult students may enroll on a per semester basis. Both fall and spring semesters are 15 weeks in length.

Q: What if I want to continue my classes or lessons after the first semester ends?

A: If you decide you’d like to continue, please notify the Registrar/Bursar by completing another application form (no additional application fee is necessary).

Q: As a returning student, do I need to complete the application form each year?

A: Yes, all adult students must complete an application form in full each year.

Q: Do you offer tuition discounts?

A: Adults (age 60 years and over) receive a 15% tuition discount off the cost of individual lessons. The lifelong learner discount is not applicable to group instruction. To receive the tuition discount and reduced application fee, you must check the box on the application form indicating you are 60 years of age or older.
