Early Childhood Music Education
INSTRUMENT MAKING (3 & 4 years)
These classes combine the joys of music with the pleasures of art as we explore the creative potential in everyday objects. Children make instruments such as drums, shakers, tambourines, castanets, sandblocks, kazoos, rhythm sticks, and bell bracelets using familiar and recycled materials, including coffee cans, paper tubes, metal washers, and terracotta pots. At the completion of these projects, children compare the sounds of their school-made instruments and use them to accompany their group singing. In addition to a head art teacher, this class has a head music teacher.

Tues 2:00-2:45 p.m. (#54) Separation $1,590
