GUITAR PROGRAM
The School offers classical guitar study for students age eight and older at all levels of experience. The guitar curriculum focuses on technical study, music reading, and the cultivation of musical understanding. Beginning to intermediate students are enrolled in an individual lesson and weekly musicianship class, while advanced students with strong reading skills also take part in chamber ensembles. Advanced high school seniors have the opportunity to perform a full-length solo recital, drawing on repertoire from the standard literature.
