FAMILY MUSIC FOR TODDLERS AND INFANTS
In this course, the curriculum is designed to be shared by two children of different ages within the same family (such as a toddler and an infant), accompanied by a parent or other adult. Teachers guide adults in fostering the children's musical development through a variety of song and playful movement experiences. Instruments such as traditional drums, finger cymbals, shakers, and tone blocks -- as well as specially sized percussion instruments from around the world -- support the learning of basic music concepts. In addition to a head teacher, every class features a pianist who improvises accompaniments in a variety of musical styles.
